Attorney–at-law MARGARITA BALABANOVA graduated from the Law Department at the Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria with full honors. She is a specialist in the field of Company Law, Insurance Law and Trademarks. She was enrolled in the Plovdiv Bar Association in 2017.
Attorney Margarita Balabanova is a PhD in Company Law at the Institute of the State and the Law at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences with a dissertation on the topic “Company Share in LLC.“ (supervisor is Assoc. Prof. Nikolay Kolev).
From 2023 is writing postdoctorate in Insurance law with the topic about Motor Third Party Liability Insurance.
Attorney Balabanova is the executive director of the Association – National Seminary Center “Temida” and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association “Union of Jurists in Bulgaria” in Plovdiv (www.sub.bg). She is the author of numerous articles in the periodical Legal Press (Legal Theory Magazine, Commercial and Contract Law Magazine and Commercial Law Magazine) and the Gramada Legal Portal. Attorney Balabanova worked at the Consumer Protection Association, where she acquired extensive consumer law practice. She has successfully defended both the rights of traders and consumers.
She speaks English and has a good knowledge of German.
